New York Fashion Week Spring 2010 Update: For Whitney Port (among others), the Message is Short

With days one and two of New York Fashion Week complete and day three underway, one of the emerging messages for Spring 2010 is short - short hemlines on dresses, and uber short shorts. While the headlines point out Whitney Port's show foremost (i.e., nymag's blog The Cut), she is not alone. Numerous other shows so far have displayed the trend. My thoughts on going short are positive - the shorter the skirt, the longer the look of the leg, especially paired with sky-high platform heels, which make for very modelesque proportions.
